It’s long been said that motherhood doesn’t come with a manual but we thought, why not?
Motherly was born to send expert ideas and mom-to-mom inspiration to women exactly when they need it. Because an uplifting online community full of expert tricks-of-the-trade and inspiring stories were exactly what we were missing the first time we became moms.
Founded by a journalist and an entrepreneur who have 6 young kids between them (pass the coffee), Motherly is always looking for new ways to make mothers’ lives better.

Dr. Lisa Damour on navigating the tumultuous teen years
He is absolutely adorable!
I would love to hear some tips!! My daughter is 20 months and she’s so picky! I feel bad sometimes she doesn’t even eat dinner so I just give her yogurt or some crackers
Reminds self this is not a reason to have a baby.. 😂
So I can tell you my son is 16 now. When he was a toddler, I explained about different foods. He has try foods at least 7 times before he can say he doesn't like them. It is something that gives them options. Another one was when we were at the grocery store, I would ask him to pick out a food that he would like to try. Again, I always reminded him about the seven times rule. For example, he never liked Brussel sprouts. I made it 2 times, and each time, he tried and said he didn't like it. Then we went to his grandma's house, and she served Brussel sprouts. He said he didn't like them, and I said said well you need to try them again, this will be your 3rd time." Anyhow, he tried them and loved them and went back for seconds. To this day, he loves Brussel sprouts but made the way she did it, which was boiled but in a chicken broth and not mooshy. I hope this helps the 7x rules give you the opportunity to try the different foods cooked differently in different ways. And giving them a choice on picking out food in a grocery store. Another example is if I wanted him to pick a vegetable, I let him pick. Do you want to try this, or do you want to try that.

Just put the baby in its own bed, this is truly unnecessary in my opinion, and yes i am a dad an my kids turned out great in their own beds growing up. Just my 2 cents
He is overworked
These are examples of real men who love their wives and kids ( take note you other losers )
I could've been sleeping, but instead I wasted my listening to a moron complain. I need to make better viewing choices.
cute
I can relate to the anger and resentment she displays, but let me tell you some things I've heard men say recently about those kinds of dad videos: "Why are dads always shown in the worst light online? I don't neglect my kid, why are dads always portrayed as inept parents for the sake of comedy? As the ignorant butt of sitcom jokes? Making fun of moms is taboo, why are dads fair game? Can we talk about mommy wine culture?" Certainly we've all met neglectful dads in real life. But it was important for me to realize there a lot of men pushing back against the 'weaponized incompetence' label, and they don't find those dad videos funny either.
Years of love. How precious
I think everyone holds a child like that 😮
As a father of three the only time I got worried was when it got quiet. Secondly, constantly hovering over the kids is not good either. Third, men and women parent differently, I can't tell you how many times I told my wife to go do something for herself, enjoy herself and don't worry.
🥑
So Beautiful 🙏🏼
Well how else would you hold a baby ? Upside down?
Amen!!!
❤❤❤ always so adorable he looks like he had a good day get ready for dinner and ready Beddy bye😅😅😅❤❤❤❤ so cute 😊😊😊😊😊all he needs is his little blanket
💙
He's like we have to talk, when we get home".
"Chose to fall asleep." That is a really weird way of saying they're also exhausted. Like, do you choose to fall asleep at night or does it kind of just happen?
Poor thing
I'm with you. But for some reason i feel the 90s was safer
Wunderschön❤❤❤❤❤❤
His smile warmed my heart.
